TELCOR Inc, a nationally recognized innovator in the healthcare informatics industry, is looking for an energetic, focused, motivated team member to work as a Senior Software Engineer with a current product code base for continued development and support to a customer base of over 700 hospital customers in North America and Europe for TELCOR's Point of Care product line.

The TELCOR Point of Care (POC) Product Line:
TELCOR's Point of Care software addresses the need for cost effective integration of laboratory results performed on devices remotely located outside the clinical laboratory into the Laboratory/Clinical Information System. As a byproduct of this integration, the product also provides full data management for operator, device and patient/QC results to reduce the labor needed to manage a point of care testing program.
SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create technical design documentation, development and unit testing program code to enhance and modify a current code base
- Integrate customer and market requirements as well as prioritization of changes through interaction with the Product Management process
- Provide support for installation and support personnel, including troubleshooting system errors at customer sites
- Testing software corrections that have been reported by customer sites
- Develop or maintain version summaries and internal/external documentation
- Develop and/or execute internal technical training for installation and support staff
- Manage time effectively and meet deliverable deadlines
- Continuing education
- Participate in all necessary POC meetings
- Follow all defined POC processes and procedures
- Availability for after hours second line product support
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate would have:
- 5+ years experience in VB6, SQL
- 4+ years experience in COM/DCOM
- 3+ years experience in Crystal Reports
- 2+ years experience in C#
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Knowledge of medical information systems is a plus
