Quick-Linc®
Quick-Linc® is the only interface engine in the industry designed specifically for consolidating Point of Care Testing results. The comprehensive integrated data and interface management tools are used to manage Point of Care results from all device types as well those performed manually.
The system was designed as an online, real-time, paperless, exception-based, email-enabled system that can be configured by the customer for as much or as little operator intervention as desired.
Configuration options allow customers to set up the system to meet their operational requirements without custom code.
A Dashboard provides an up-to-the-minute status of the data flowing into and out of the system. It is an invaluable tool to monitor current program status and quickly identify activities requiring attention. It provides a single display of activity with counts of exceptions waiting for operator intervention and interface activity to and from the LIS/EMR.
A comprehensive Rules Engine can be used for monitoring results that are outside customer defined limits. The system offers an unlimited number of ranges by test and location. This same Rules Engine is used to optionally configure hundreds of rules for validating the patient ID, formatting results, mapping order and result codes, etc.
The Result Repository is the foundation database. It maintains all current and historical POCT results as well as a complete record of all system activity making it the ideal tool for data mining. It includes extensive options for data views, searches (via filters) and sorts that provide electronic access to all test information including detailed audits of all system activities, audits of data changes and additions of electronic notes. These features ensure your ability to trace, audit and prove regulatory compliance.
QA Statistics is an invaluable tool that, based on customer defined comments, time frame and an acceptable compliance percentage, identifies locations and operators who are not operating within your compliance guidelines.
Electronic Notes may be added to any record (result or configuration) in the system and eliminates all manual record keeping. Entry of an electronic note can be done from free text entry or pre-defined notes and is automatically stored along with the date, time and operator ID.
Electronic Logs provide a chronological history of all activities recorded by category:
- Edit - all record changes with date, time, by, before and after values
- Exception - all customer defined exceptions with date, time, by, record and exception description
- Event - all system activities such as log in, log out, backup completed, shut down, etc. with date, time, by and activity
- Error - date, time, by and message
- Overdue Device Log - devices overdue for upload with date, time, device, last upload and note
Manual Result Entry facilitates the recording of patient and result information for manually performed Point of Care tests. Result entry can be performed via numeric, pre-defined text or free-text entry. Results can be automatically flagged according to user-defined rules.
Utilization provides the empirical data to monitor POCT usage within each facility and location for a selected time frame and reporting interval (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, by operator, device, disposable and test type). |
