Who We Serve

Diverse Customer Base

TELCOR’s point of care solution, QML, is installed in more than 1,200 hospitals throughout all 50 states and Canada.

QML-Who We Serve

TELCOR's QML product is used in more than 1,200 hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Customers range from standalone clinics and surgery centers to small rural hospitals, specialty hospitals, university hospital settings and large integrated delivery/system settings with more than 80 hospitals that support thousands of beds and outpatient clinics.

The majority of our customers use QML to process unsolicited results (those without an order in the LIS/EMR), but some also use QML to process point of care results using a more traditional laboratory process where it sends solicited results (those with an existing order in the LIS/EMR). Both types of results can be managed simultaneously in QML and sent to the LIS/EMR either through a single interface to the LIS/EMR or multiple, depending on the ability of the receiving system to receive both result types on the same interface. QML can receive both electronic ADT messages and orders from the LIS/EMR for management of both result types.

Vendor-Neutral Approach

Because we have always believed a vendor-neutral approach offers a solution to our customers without limitation, QML’s versatility, flexibility and cost effectiveness is unmatched. With connectivity to more than 80 device types, including all of the major glucose meters and a Web-based solution for charting of manual results, TELCOR leads the industry by connecting the most device types to the most LIS/EMR systems. Because no single vendor can provide point of care testing to meet all of a hospital’s point of care needs, hospitals have multiple testing platforms from multiple vendors, making connectivity a sometimes complex and expensive undertaking, particularly when independently interfacing each solution to the LIS/EMR.

TELCOR’s diverse customer base is a testament to the versatility that QML’s unique architecture provides and its ability to protect your investment. It allows addition or replacement of device types without impact to the LIS/EMR interface and also allows replacement of the LIS/EMR without impact to any of the device types, all without any data loss.
