Manual Result Entry

A Point of Care Testing (POCT) system would not be complete without the ability to capture results for manual patient and liquid QC tests performed by non-laboratorians outside the clinical lab. WebMRE is an independent, yet fully integrated add-on module, to QML. That means that all results — whether from connected devices or manually entered — are available within QML and interfaced to the LIS/EMR for consistent and consolidated point of care result reporting.

WebMRE

WebMRE, an add-on module to QML, allows you to capture manually entered results. This ensures all results, whether from connected devices or entered manually, can be interfaced with the LIS/EMR for consistent POC reporting.

WebMRE uses all of QML’s existing functions for the laboratory to define unlimited panels, tests within panels, result options for each test and flags for abnormal results. Operators access WebMRE using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or an icon on their desktop; then, they enter their login and password giving them access to only their assigned tests. Panels are then assigned to the operators certified to perform that testing, so operators only have access to tests they can perform.
