TELCOR was founded in 1995 by three executives, Jim Terrano, Deb Larson and Rebekah Clarke, of a public Clinical Laboratory Information Systems company. The initial focus of the company was to provide consulting services to hospitals, clinical laboratories, healthcare computing and Point of Care device vendors. After several years of successful operations, the company began to develop its two current product lines: Point of Care and Laboratory Outreach Information Systems®.
