TELCOR Executives

Jim Terrano has thirty-six years experience in data processing, healthcare and management and is a founding partner of TELCOR.  Mr. Terrano is currently TELCOR’s President and Chief Executive Officer with primary responsibilities for strategic direction, systems concept, vision and business plan execution.  He has developed commercially successful Hospital Information Systems as well as software products for the clinical laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, business office, finance and anesthesiology departments.  Mr. Terrano also started two other companies in the healthcare computing industry where he fulfilled the responsibilities of President and CEO.  These healthcare software companies were Terrano and Associates (1977 - 1982) and Terrano Corporation (1983 - 1994), which he took through an initial public offering.  Mr. Terrano’s other industry positions included Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Computer Synergy (1976 – 1977); Director of Technology for American Hospital Supply Corporation – Information Systems Division (1972 – 1976); Director of Research and Development for Minnesota Blue Cross Shared - Hospital Systems Division (1968 – 1972) and Project Manager for Honeywell, Inc. - Aerospace Division (1964 – 1968).

Deb Larson, B.Sc., MT (ASCP), has over thirty years experience in healthcare and clinical information systems.  Ms. Larson is a founding partner of TELCOR and currently Executive Vice President and Treasurer with primary responsibilities for client account management, systems design and project management for the OIS product line, TELCOR policies and procedures and company accounting.  Throughout her career in healthcare computing, she has designed, managed and deployed commercially successful systems for clinical laboratories, anatomic pathology departments, blood banks and outreach services.  Prior to TELCOR Inc, her history included Vice President of Operations at Terrano Corporation (1987 - 1994) where she was responsible for design, development, quality assurance, installation, client services and regulatory compliance of all clinical information systems.  Ms. Larson’s other positions at Terrano Corporation included Director of Laboratory Products and Manager of Laboratory Systems (1982 – 1987).   Ms. Larson started her career as a Medical Technologist.  She completed her degree in Medical Technology and Chemistry at the University of Nebraska.  

Becky Clarke, RN, B.S., has over thirty years of experience in healthcare and clinical information systems.  Ms. Clarke is a founding partner of TELCOR and currently Executive Vice President and Secretary with primary responsibilities for the Point of Care product line and all employee benefits.  Throughout her career in healthcare computing, she has played leading roles in the design and deployment of commercially successful information systems for Point of Care Testing data and interface management, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, medication charting, and many state-of-the-art system interfaces, as well as industry leading implementation processes.  Her regulatory affairs involvement includes design of internal processes and procedures for GMP of regulated and non-regulated products.  She has authored articles on Point of Care Connectivity and data and interface management as well as conducted workshops and presentations at the Society for Critical Care Medicine, AACC and CLMA.  Ms. Clarke’s other industry positions included Vice President, Laboratory Product Line at Terrano Corporation as well as several other positions at that company.  She earned a B.S. in Health Arts from St. Francis College in Joliet, Illinois, and a diploma in nursing from Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she practiced as a registered nurse team leader covering all patient care areas at a large multi-disciplined teaching hospital.

Mitchell Fry, B.A., has over seventeen years experience in the healthcare and clinical information systems industry. Mr. Fry is currently Senior Vice President with primary responsibilities for Business Development, Outreach Information System Sales and corporate contracting. Mr Fry's career in the industry began with clinical information system development. Before joining TELCOR in 2002, Mr. Fry held a variety of operational and strategic positions at Sunquest Information Systems (1989-2002) including Vice President Business Development and Product Management. His responsibilities included: strategic product planning and product lifecycle management for Sunquest's clinical information systems for Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Financial and Commercial Laboratory. He was also responsible for acquisitions, channel development and third party contract negotiations. Prior to his role in Product Management and Business Development, Mr. Fry held other senior management roles including Application Interfacing, which was responsible for connectivity between Sunquest's clinical products and other clinical and financial applications, Radiology Development, Systems Integration, Quality Control, Technical Publications and various support groups including systems and application interface. During his tenure at Sunquest, the company went public and grew to $150 million in annual sales and was subsequently sold to Misys Healthcare Systems. Mr. Fry also founded Santa Cruz Systems which provided custom broker automation software for importers along the southern border of the United States. Mr. Fry completed his degree in Business and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
