Our professional staff provides clinical and technical expertise based upon extensive experience with clinical information systems, laboratory billing and real-world knowledge of the health care environment. Most of TELCOR’s team members have health care-related or technology-related backgrounds, which means they understand the day-to-day challenges faced by their customers. The products designed, developed and supported by TELCOR are uniquely intuitive because the people behind them truly understand what customers are experiencing.

Jim Terrano, President and CEO
Jim Terrano, B.S., has decades of experience in data processing, information technology, health care and management and is a founding partner of TELCOR. Jim serves as TELCOR’s President and Chief Executive Officer with primary responsibilities for strategic direction, systems concept, vision and business plan execution.
As President and CEO, Jim has overseen the company’s expansion from a three-person operation in a spare room to an 85+ person operation in a 30,000-square-foot building. His career achievements include developing a commercially successful hospital information system and software products for clinical laboratories, radiology departments, pharmacies, business offices, finance operations and anesthesiology departments. In 2010, Jim was recognized by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship with the annual Distinguished Entrepreneur Award.

Deb Larson, Executive Vice President
Deb Larson, B.S., M.T. (ASCP), has extensive experience in health care and clinical information systems. Deb is a founding partner of TELCOR and serves as Executive Vice President and Treasurer. Her primary responsibilities include managing the OIS® product line, which includes Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business Pro, in addition to client account management, systems design and company accounting.
Throughout Deb’s career in providing software applications and services for health care specialties, she has designed, managed and deployed commercially successful systems for clinical laboratories, anatomic pathology departments, blood banks, outreach services and reference laboratory billing organizations.
Deb has a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology and chemistry from the University of Nebraska. She also is a Certified Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.

Becky Clarke, Executive Vice President
Becky Clarke, B.S., R.N., has extensive experience in health care and clinical information systems. Becky is a founding partner of TELCOR and serves as Executive Vice President and Secretary. Her primary responsibilities include managing the point of care product line and all employee benefits.
Throughout Becky’s career in health care computing, she has played leading roles in the design and deployment of commercially successful information systems for point of care testing data and interface management, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, medication charting and many state-of-the-art system interfaces, as well as industry-leading implementation processes. Her regulatory affairs involvement includes design of internal processes and procedures for GMP of regulated and non-regulated products.
Becky has authored articles on point of care connectivity and data and interface management, as well as conducted workshops and presentations at the Society for Critical Care Medicine, AACC and CLMA.

Mark Cederdahl, Vice President, POC Sales
Mark Cederdahl, an industry sales veteran, began his career in laboratory information system sales in 1982. His experience includes building a sales and marketing organization for a laboratory-automation vendor, which included implementing the first two full laboratory-automation systems in the United States.
Since joining TELCOR in 1996, Mark’s primary responsibilities have included developing and managing the sales force for the point of care product line, creating and maintaining business relationships with diagnostic and point of care vendors, and providing overall strategic leadership. During his tenure, TELCOR has secured a lead position in the point of care connectivity market and has steadily grown the product line’s revenues.

Mark Thornton, Vice President, OIS® Sales
Mark Thornton has more than 25 years of health care information systems sales experience, focusing primarily on laboratories, radiology and hospital information systems. He has successfully established and directed sales teams, developed strategic alliances and launched new products in the LIS, RIS and HIS sectors with several health care software companies.
At TELCOR, Mark’s primary responsibilities include building and directing the sales team for the Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business Pro products, expanding and developing strategic relationships, and assisting in leadership decisions. He also manages TELCOR’s Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business Pro accounts in the West territory, which includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Since joining TELCOR in 2009, he has managed and contributed to the company’s sales efforts, resulting in an increase in the new customer base while continuing to grow the overall revenue of the Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business Pro software solutions. Through these efforts, TELCOR is now positioned as the foremost solution for clinical laboratory billing needs.

Nick Terrano, POC Vice President
Nick Terrano, a TELCOR employee since 1996, has played a key role in building TELCOR’s point of care product line — helping develop it from its inception to the full data management system it is today.
Nick first worked for TELCOR on a consultant basis, helping develop data management systems for point of care device vendors. Upon joining TELCOR’s staff, he helped create TELCOR’s point of care data connectivity software, QML. Now, with more than 20 years of software-development experience, Nick continues to play a strong role in the company’s evolution. He manages TELCOR’s internal IT department and point of care software-development team, as well as provides technical expertise to the quality assurance, implementation and service departments. Nick also plays an instrumental role in maintaining TELCOR’s longtime status as a Microsoft Partner by monitoring the program’s requirements and ensuring the company continuously meets them.

Chris Terrano, OIS® Vice President
Chris Terrano has more than 20 years of experience in laboratory and billing information systems, with an emphasis on technical design and quality solution management. Chris is the chief software architect for TELCOR’s Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business Pro software solutions. Since joining TELCOR in 1995, his primary responsibilities include providing OIS® product direction and managing product development and technical services using current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality software solutions are deployed. Chris is a member of TELCOR’s HITECH Compliance Committee and plays an instrumental role in TELCOR continuously achieving status as a Microsoft Partner since 1999.

Marcia Kroll, OIS® Vice President
Marcia Kroll, B.S.N., has more than 25 years of clinical and information systems experience. She serves as OIS® Vice President, managing the implementation and customer service teams for TELCOR’s Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business Pro products. Marcia’s medical background and extensive experience in computing, integration and information technologies make her highly skilled at analyzing customers’ workflows. This analysis allows her to better design and support the implementation of end-user applications that computerize and improve customers’ workflows to help them become more efficient and effective.
Throughout her career, Marcia has played critical roles in strategic planning, project management, tactical deployment, re-engineering, CQI, and the ongoing support of health care-related information systems. She has helped design, deploy and support commercially successful information systems for nursing and ancillary order entry, care documentation and critical pathways, radiology, laboratories, pharmacies, medication administrations and home health operations.

Rochelle Paine, Vice President of Accounting
Rochelle Paine, B.S., has more than 10 years of experience in accounting, administration, human resources, benefits administration and technology. Rochelle serves as TELCOR’s Vice President of Accounting, a department she developed from a part-time administrative activity to a streamlined operation responsible for all accounting, office management and reception functions. She joined TELCOR in 2002 as an accountant after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was promoted to Director of Accounting in 2008 and Vice President of Accounting in 2011. Rochelle is continually developing her strategic-management expertise and will complete the final requirements for a Master of Business Administration degree in 2012. Rochelle is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Management Accountants.
