Our Story

Becky Clarke, Jim Terrano and Deb Larson

Founded in 1995 by Jim Terrano, Deb Larson and Becky Clarke, TELCOR’s initial focus was to provide consulting services to hospitals, clinical laboratories, health care computing and point of care device vendors.

As TELCOR continued to succeed as a consulting firm, it didn’t take long before we recognized a need for a software product in the point of care industry. As a result, we chose to enter the software development business and created a flexible middleware software solution that has changed the way hundreds of hospitals transmit data from point of care devices to the laboratory information system and, ultimately, the patient’s electronic medical record.

Over the last several years, we have partnered with more device manufacturers than anyone else in the industry, providing connectivity to more than 80 device types. This flexibility and commitment to its customers has led our point of care products to be installed in more than 1,200 hospitals in North America.

As we continued to grow as both a consulting firm and software development company, a second software need was recognized in the laboratory billing industry. By 2005, we had developed a suite of software products that help labs bill clients, update accounts, comply with regulatory requirements and perform many other lab record functions.

We are an employee-owned company that has achieved its success through organic growth. Our customers benefit from this by knowing that the company’s priorities lie in the long-term viability of its products and services. The fiber upon which TELCOR was built is one of commitment, stability and quality. This dedicated, personal approach cultivates strong, long-term customer relationships in which a true partnership is formed.
