The TELCOR Point of Care (POC) Product Line:

TELCOR’s point of care software addresses the need for cost effective integration of laboratory results performed on devices remotely located outside the clinical laboratory into the laboratory/clinical information system. As a byproduct of this integration, the product also provides full data management for operator, device and patient/QC results to reduce the labor needed to manage a point of care testing program.

 

Point of Care Account Executive Responsibilities
  • Generate new account prospects via cold calls, trade shows and vendor partner referrals
  • Have a working knowledge of the client’s or potential client’s organization
  • Promote the team selling concept and effectively manage the entire sales cycle for each prospect and current clients
  • Present and demonstrate TELCOR products highlighting their features, benefits and relevance to the prospects’ business needs
  • Document client and prospect communications, interactions and meetings utilizing CRM and other defined TELCOR methods
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Utilize resources and escalate problem accounts to appropriate Senior Management
  • Continually meet individual and company defined quotas and goals
  • Follow all defined processes and procedures including, but not limited to:
    • Expense reports
    • Requisitions
    • Travel arrangements
    • Credentialing
  • Actively contribute in sales presentations, vendor meetings or presentations and in industry shows

 

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline in a multi-state territory
  • Background in health care-related sales or marketing
  • Familiarity in health care business practices, guidelines and policies
  • Familiarity in strategic selling process
  • Experience with team-selling concepts
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer-service skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills

 

Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree
  • Strong PC computing experience (e.g. Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems)
  • Clinical laboratory software experience desirable
  • Required to fly with overnight travel 50% of the time
  • Must be able to rent and operate a motor vehicle
