Quality Assurance Analyst for the TELCOR POC Product Line

THE TELCOR POINT OF CARE (POC) PRODUCT LINE:
TELCOR’s Point of Care software products, installed with over 650 connections throughout the US, Canada, and Europe, successfully addresses the need for cost effective integration of laboratory results performed on devices remotely located outside the clinical laboratory into the Laboratory/Clinical Information System. As a byproduct of this integration, the product also provides operator, device, and QC data in a format that reduces the labor needed to monitor and control the point of care program.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST RESPONSIBILIES:
- Develop and execute test plans to verify the TELCOR POC software functions appropriately and meets the needs of our customers
- Participate in the design of software enhancements and new POC device drivers
- Write end-user documentation, training material, and other documents as required
- Train implementation and support personnel on new functions and features
- Work with the POC team and customers to implement new features at customer sites
- Work as an effective team member with the TELCOR POC team
- Assist implementation and support staff in troubleshooting issues at customer sites
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate would have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong problem resolution skills
- PC literate --basic proficiency in Windows operation system environments and office tools; e.g., Word, Excel
AND experience in one or more of the following areas
- The Clinical Laboratory
- Knowledge of or experience with laboratory analyzers and their function
- Laboratory Information Systems
- Healthcare Information Systems
- Clinical Care Delivery
